The efficiency of a solar system depends on the sun's height, angle, and shading

Questions we're used to being asked

Does St. John's actually get enough sun for solar to work?
It's a common myth that the sun in Newfoundland isn't enough for solar to work efficiently. In fact, we share solar irradiance levels with Burnaby and other regions in Brittish Columbia
What does solar actually cost, and what's the payback period?
Each solar array comes at a different cost and offers unique generation potential. Payback periods can range from 5-12 years. Cost is entirely dependent on desired offset
What happens on foggy or cloudy days - are we not the fog capital of Canada?
Solar panels actually don't need perfect sun to offer strong performance, and through thenet metering program, the overage you generate on strong irradiance days will be stored and credited back to you when you need it
Are there local rebates or incentives right now?
At this time, there are no residential incentives. Sign up here to be notified when some become available.
What's the process from quote to installation?
Once we get the information we need from you, we create a free proposal within 3-7 business days. This proposal highlights cost, potential offset, and shows how the modules will look on your roof. We iterate at no cost until you are satisfied with the numbers and the design.

Give us a shout!

We offer commitment-free proposals at no cost. We'll just need a little information from you
